Oman E-Invoicing Deadline — When Does Fawtara Apply?
The Oman Tax Authority is rolling Fawtara out in phases. The safest way to plan is to know the published phase dates and then confirm your own VATIN in OTA's rollout checker.
Current published rollout
August 2026Phase 1: 100 selected large VAT-registered companies.
February 2027Phase 2: all large VAT-registered companies.
August 2027Phase 3: remaining VAT-registered taxpayers.
Do not rely only on company size. OTA provides a rollout checker using the full VATIN. Use that result for your business planning.
