Accredited Service Providers (ASP) — Explained Simply

Your invoicing software creates the invoice. An accredited service provider helps validate and exchange it through the Fawtara network.

What does an ASP do?

In OTA's 5-corner model, service providers validate and exchange e-invoices between taxpayers and report specified tax data to OTA.

Where is the official list?

OTA maintains a live Accredited Service Providers directory on the Fawtara portal. Because the list can change, the official directory should remain the source of truth.

What should an SME compare?

Integration

Does it connect easily to your invoicing, POS or accounting software?

Commercial model

Monthly subscription, per-invoice fee or another model. OTA says provider pricing is commercially determined by each provider.

Support

Onboarding, validation errors, downtime support and response time.

Important: an invoicing-software vendor and an accredited service provider are not necessarily the same company.
