Fawtara Readiness Checklist for SMEs

Use this checklist to identify what your business should prepare before its rollout date.

1. Confirm your rollout status

OTA provides a rollout checker using your VATIN. Do not assume your date only from company size.

2. Review your master data

  • Company legal name and VATIN
  • Customer VAT details for B2B
  • Supplier and address details
  • Products/services, units, prices and VAT treatment

3. Review how invoices are created today

Paper, Word, PDF or ordinary Excel are not the structured e-invoice themselves. If you use accounting, POS or ERP software, check whether it can be integrated before replacing it.

4. Prepare correction processes

Issued e-invoices are adjusted through electronic credit/debit notes and replacement invoices where applicable.

5. Plan your service-provider connection

Taxpayers use an OTA-accredited service provider in the 5-corner model unless they themselves become accredited.
